The papers contained in this volume were presented at a conference which focused on the problems faced by black women. The papers address socioeconomic, educational, occupational, and health issues, as well as stressing the special counseling needs of this population. It should be noted that each of these papers is individually cited and abstracted in the ERIC system (see note). Also included in this volume is a statistical appendix which reflects the educational and occupational status of black women in the United States. (GC)
