The manual includes seven units (each consisting of ten activities): (1) general information activities, (2) career education art activities, (3) resource people contact lessons, (4) research activities, (5) value activities for awareness of self, (6) sexism awareness activities, and (7) role playing activities. Each lesson in units one and two includes one or all of the following: purpose, questions for students, procedure, and debriefing (ways to determine outcomes). The lessons in the third unit include presentation by a resource person, a note to the teacher (instructions for contacting the resource person), a description of materials needed, and a presentation outline. In the last four units each of the activities includes a step-by-step guide for teachers to follow in helping students accomplish the learning task. (EM)
