Presented are a program description and the 1976 Annual Report of the Sharada Centre for the Non-Normal (mentally retarded) in India, a school which serves 50 mentally retarded children between the ages of 2 1/2 and 14 years. The program description gives goals of the program, the admission procedure, staff and teacher training information and a sample day at Sharada. Four case studies are provided. The Annual Report describes the B. M. Institute of which the Sharada Centre is a part, services to emotionally disturbed and mentally retarded children, professional education services, and clinical services including diagnosis-evaluation, vocational rehabilitation, and audiology.
