The fifteen lesson plans compiled in this document were developed for elementary teachers to help them assist students to prepare for their own aging and increase awareness of decision-making affecting that aging. Each of these plans includes a name (i.e., title), purpose, behavioral objectives, a list of materials (including some pages for duplication), and teaching procedure. The titles of these lesson plans are Picture Age, An Old Friend, Make Someone Happy--Friends Old and Young, Growing Up Old, Age and Poetry, Community Life Many Years Ago--Interviews with Senior Citizens, Senior Musician (Artist) in Residence, Senior Hobby Day, Senior Travel Day, Considering the Extended Family, How Will You Be Old, Famous Old People, Imaginary Birthday, Free to Any Age, and You've Come a Long Way Baby.
