The Effects of Achievement Diagnosis with Feedback on the Science Achievement and Attitude of University Students.
Yeany, Russell H.; And Others
This document presents a study involving 75 pre-service teachers enrolled in introductory biology at the University of Georgia to determine if students who are provided with performance objectives and experience immediate feedback diagnostic testing, achieve differently from students who receive performance objectives but who do not experience diagnostic testing. Results indicate no significant differences in student achievement between groups. Recommendations concerning the use of diagnostic organizers are offered. (SL)
