This material consists of ten appendixes to the Final Report for 1976-77 on the implementation of the Texas state-supported compensatory education program in the Austin Independent School District as evaluated by that district's Office of Research and Evaluation. The instruments used in the evaluation process are described or presented in full, the methods of their application discussed, and the results explained in tabular or narrative form. These instruments consisted of (1) the California Achievement Test, (2) the School Sentiment Index, (3) principal interviews, (4) teacher interviews, (5) aide questionnaires, (6) area director/instructional coordinator questionnaires, (7) reading teacher interviews, (8) education planner interviews, (9) an attendance study for one school, and (10) a Workshop Evaluation Scale.
