Postsecondary Institutions Eligible for the Basic Grants Program.
Bureau of Student Financial Assistance (DHEW/OE), Washington, DC.
The Basic Educational Opportunity Grant Program is a Federal aid program designed to provide financial assistance to those who need it to attend post-high school educational institutions. The amount of the Basic Grant is determined on the basis of the applicant's family assistance resources. The Basic Educational Grant award is a grant and, unlike a loan, does not have to be repaid. Eligibility criteria for the grant are summarized. A list of institutions is provided that includes all institutions whose students are eligible to receive Basic Grant awards. (SPG)
