A Program of Articulation Therapy in a Language Framework.
Rosso, Louis J.; Buie, Janet P.
Described are the development and use of the ALL (Articulation and Language Learning) program, an approach to articulation therapy for 3- to 7-year-old children with coordinated materials for speech clinicians, parents, and teachers. The curriculum guide is explained to incorporate individualized educational programs, learning activities, word lists, work sheets, and cassette songs for each of 23 units. Eleven procedures are listed for using the ALL program, and additional suggestions are made concerning such aspects as instructional materials and parent and teacher involvement. Field test data is said to indicate a high dismissal rate coupled with a minimal amount of exposure. (CL)
