Two Approaches to Common-Sense Program Evaluation in Special Education.

Two models for program evaluation as related to decision making of routinely operated special education programs are discussed. One model deals with judgmental data collected from staff members once a year and ways to insert that data into the budget planning and program change processes. The other model deals with inclusion of student performance data on a program-wide basis and how to set expectancies for exceptional child performance. (Author/DB)
