This issue of the bi-yearly publication contains 11 articles grouped under three headings: Developmental Cognitive/ Perceptual Studies, Development of Assessment Tools Studies, and Effective Learning Studies. The research was carried out at the Lida Lee Tall Learning Resources Center on the campus of Towson (Md.) State University. This is a multi-dimensional, racially integrated educational research facility. Among many other activities, it houses an innovative early childhood and elementary education program for children aged six months to 12 years, and a model program for mainstreaming handicapped children. The studies are reported in brief, readable form, but the complete studies are available at the center for in-depth study by researchers. (Author/BP)
