People Do Drink and Drive. A Guide to Personal Decisions.
Witherill, Jerome W.
The material presented in this 25-page booklet is intended to generate discussions among students, teachers, and parents about alcohol and thereby help people to focus on the way alcohol affects their lives. The format of the booklet incorporates a question-response pattern; a sample question: "You see a man who has had too much to drink getting into his car to drive off. What would you do?" Alternatives are listed to help students determine how they might react; discussions with others should then bring out other alternatives. Representative topics are "What Does Alcohol Do to a Person?""How Much Is Too Much?" and "What You Are Drinking!" A two-page teacher's guide is included. (BL)
