Consumer Education Resource Materials Kit.
Lee, Stewart M.
A variety of teaching resources, learning activities, and instructional materials for preparing secondary consumer education courses are presented in this teaching guide. Suggesting an interdisciplinary approach, the materials are appropriate for economics, home economics, business, and social studies courses. Most of the materials presented are reprinted magazine articles and government publications, including articles, questionnaires, fact and tip sheets, and cartoons. Areas covered in the resource guide include the role of the consumer and accompanying rights, responsibilities, and moralities; career opportunities; federal government sources; metric system materials; evaluation materials; resource people and places; and lists of periodicals, books, films, filmstrips, slides, and audiovisual materials.
