Minority Biomedical Support Program: A Directory of the Research Projects.
National Institutes of Health (DHEW), Bethesda, MD. Div. of Research Resources.
The purpose of the Minority Biomedical Support Program (MBS) is to increase the numbers of ethnic minority faculty and student investigators engaged in biomedical research. The grants that the MBS program awards, cover a wide scope of research costs including support for student research (mainly undergraduate). In this directory of MBS-supported research projects, entries are organized alphabetically by the name of the grantee institution. The name of the principal investigator or program director appears with the address of the institution. Adjoining columns show the names of the individual project investigator and the title of each research project. A geographical index is provided at the end of the directory. In it, grantee institutions are listed alphabetically by state, and within each state in alphabetical order according to the name of the institution. (Author/BB)
