This revised report on long-range planning for higher education in North Carolina contains sections on: (1) higher education in the state in 1977; (2) constraints, assumptions, and projections affecting planning for higher education; (3) goals, tasks, and objectives; (4) instruction, research, and public service; and (5) future planning and program review. The report is intended as an information resource for state legislators and other officials concerned with higher education, and contains some statistical data. (MSE)
