The report to Congress describes the activities of the National Center on Educational Media and Materials for the Handicapped (NCEMMH). Following an introductory section on the history of the center are sections which cover the following program components: the relationship of NCEMMH to Specialized Offices and Areal Learning Resource Centers; mission and scope of work of the National Center; leadership, staffing, and administration organization of the National Center; and federal support allocations. The bulk of the document reports on the scope, functions, personnel, current objectives and strategies, work accomplished, and future projections for the three major service areas: media, materials, and technology; information services; and coordination services. Included is a program summary, a glossary, and a listing of national advisory board members. (SBH)
