Characteristics of Cooperative Agreements between Postsecondary Institutions and Business, Industry, and Labor. Annotated and Selected Bibliography. Final Report.
Peart, Edna E.
Developed as a source of reference for educators in adult cooperative education, this selected annotated bibliography provides a review of literature and research concerning cooperative agreements (characteristics) between adult educational institutions and business, industry, and labor. The content is in three sections. The first and shortest lists readings on research related to agreements. Section 2 lists readings which offer guidelines or criteria for initiating or writing postsecondary cooperative educational agreements. Each of the citations in these two sections includes author; title; publisher's name, city, and state; publication date; and an annotation. The last section, comprising two-thirds of the document, presents and reviews agreements selected because they represent a variety of the cooperative education agreements currently being utilized or advocated for use in the adult cooperative education field. Each of the citations in this section includes the source, title, review, and copy of the agreement. A list of readings concerning the adult learner, postsecondary education, and cooperative work/education programs as well as a list of resource guides, handbooks, or manuals for postsecondary cooperative education programs are appended.
