This report describes three innovative instructional programs which have demonstrated that carefully designed non-traditional instruction can have a positive influence upon student performance. The programs are the mathematics program of the Clearwater Campus of St. Petersburg Junior College, the biology program of Miles College, and the chemistry program of the University of Southern Mississippi.
