Cataloging Productivity Quotas.
Payne, Eleanor R.
The author raises some philosophical and practical objections to establishing cataloging productivity quotas. They are unlikely to have any significant impact when used as planning and evaluation tools by management. Quotas would be counterproductive in a profession that does not lend itself to quantification and places an emphasis on quality of output. (JPF)
