Human Rehabilitation Techniques. Project Papers. Volume IV, Part A.
Dudek, R. A.; And Others
Volume IV, Part A of a six-volume final report (which covers the findings of a research project on policy and technology related to rehabilitation of disabled individuals) presents an overview of the methodology used in the project, much of the data used in projecting consequences and policymaking impacts in project analysis, and insight into techniques used to determine exogenous factors such as the attitudes of persons influenced by rehabilitation technology. Project paper 1 describes the logic underlying the various steps and stages of project development. Reviewed in paper 2 is the overall social context within which elements of a rehabilitation-technology interact (included are scenarios describing trends in social and economic development through the year 2025). Project paper 3 presents the life-function oriented analysis of the 14 representative desabilities researched in the project. Limitations in data gathering and analysis are pointed out. A fourth paper contains the original project report on rehabilitation technologies related to each of the 14 disability areas. (SBH)
