Materials Inventory. United States Office of Education Exemplary Projects. Volume II.
Far West Lab. for Educational Research and Development, San Francisco, CA.
This is a companion document to "Educational Programs That Work," and is intended for use by state facilitators and other linking agents who are working with school districts to locate exemplary practices that, if adopted, will lead to improved educational programs. For all projects (whenever such information was available) the use of each material (whether awareness, training, evaluation, management, or instruction) is specified. In many cases, materials are used for more than one purpose. Special equipment needs are also identified. As far as possible, project staff have indicated whether they consider certain items "essential" or "optional." In most instances, costs and distributor are indicated. In addition, where known, the year an item was published and whether or not it is copyrighted is noted. The index provides a full listing of all programs approved by the panel and indicates appropriate page numbers. (Author/MLF)
