Statewide Business Education Evaluation Committee.
The 1976-77 fiscal year activity for the Futuring of Business Education Curricular Needs Project involved the creation of the Statewide Business Education Review Committee. The committee conducted a conference--New York's first Statewide Business Review Conference--focusing on the projected needs of the business community in the next twenty years, and on appropriate recommendations to serve as a basis for changes or new developments in the business education curriculum/program (primarily at the secondary level) which would be compatible with the changing needs of business. Following a brief introduction covering the committee's participants and activities, eight papers given at the Statewide Business Review Conference are presented in this report. Representative titles are"Business and the Future: A View of the Possible,""The Future Environment for Business, Education, Work, and Leisure," and "In Search of New Direction." Names and addresses of members of the Statewide Business Review Committee of New York are appended. (BL)
