Education as Experimentation: A Planned Variation Model. The Non-Follow Through Study.
Molitor, James A.; And Others
This volume presents data on the progress of the non-Follow Through children who served as the comparison group in the national evaluation study of the Follow Through Planned Variation Model. Three major approaches were used to study the data in this volume. First, the relationship of children's background characteristics to their academic performance at entry to kindergarten was examined. Second, the relationship of background variables to school performance through third grade was examined. Third, the non-Follow Through attrition rate was examined to determine how it differed across geographic areas and to find some of its correlates. More than 400 pages of data are included. (JMB)
