In Part 1 attention is given to such matters as compulsory and prohibitory school attendance, authority over curricular and extracurricular activities, regulatory control over the student, and student disciplinary practices. In Part 2 attention is given to such matters as grounds for teacher dismissal, right of association, teachers' rights outside the classroom, right to strike, liability for pupil injury, and sexuality and the teacher.
