Written for employers and other professionals involved in helping the mentally restored (people who have had a mental illnesses or emotional problems which are now under control) find and maintain gainful employment, this guide discusses the following topics: who are the mentally restored; why is a job important to them; who can help these people find employment; how is job placement made; how can the employer or professional assistant learn about his client; how can placement directors learn about available jobs for their clients; how do placement directors match these applicants to appropriate jobs; how do placement directors "sell" the mentally restored person to the employer and answer any objections; what special considerations are important; and what support services are available or needed.
