A Source Book for Teaching Chemical Oceanography.

Chemical oceanography or marine chemistry are taught in many colleges and universities. This publication provides sources for instructors of such courses. The first section of this report is a detailed composite outline of a course in chemical oceanography. It includes fundamental topics taught in many chemical oceanography classes. The outline also serves as a guide to the problem and reference sections in the report. Following the course outline are 56 pages of problems and 25 pages of bibliographical references. Problem topics include the physical chemistry of sea water, ocean models, and ocean pollution as well as nearly every other major topic in the marine chemistry field. (RH)
