New York State Education Dept., Albany. Area Learning Resource Center.
The annotated filmography published by the National Center on Educational Media and Materials for the Handicapped lists more than 700 films about teaching handicapped children. Each entry includes an abstract indicating the film's content and indexing terms chosen from a list of 200 subject headings. Definitions of the 200 subject headings are provided. Additional data in each entry indicates whether the film is in black and white or color, its length and rates at which it is rented or sold. An index organizes the films according to subject matter. Names and addresses of producers and distributors are presented. Resources other than producer or distributor catalogs that were consulted in the course of compiling the filmography are identified.
