This publication presents a collection of 26 environmental education case studies recognized as being representative of curriculum materials and/or projects. Contained are action programs that can serve as models for the classroom teacher, principal, curriculum consultant, superintendent, state department official, or teacher educators in the planning and development of programs for local situations. The components, antecedents, and distinctions of environmental education are outlined as a frame for the selected case studies.
