Presented are three articles on environmental education representing the views of four authorities from the fields of geography, sociology, biology, and conservation. The first article stresses the need for successful management of the global environment and global environmental education. The second article details the social effects of environmental decay and discusses the role education must play in the transformation of society and its values. The final article suggests conservation topics which should be included in science courses at the secondary level and details methods for their integration as part of an overall conservation approach. Also discussed in the final article are: (1) the integration of environmental concepts into the curriculum; (2) field studies; (3) class evaluation; (4) the relationship of conservation education to environmental studies; (5) audio-visual aids; and (6) teacher education.
