Comprehensive Analysis of the Market Survey for Computer Applications Project. Phase I.
Northwest Regional Educational Lab., Portland, OR.
In order to assess the potential market for educational materials developed to teach the use of the computer as an instructional tool and as an aid to management and decision making, a mailed questionnaire was used to survey randomly selected college professors of educational and business administration, school district superintendents, and secondary school teachers. A sizeable, although not commercially profitable, user market was identified for both types of materials, with inservice training being identified as an area for market growth. The survey instruments and data tables are included in the report with questionnaire cover letters and selected responses appended. (STS)
