The teacher's manual is designed to help plan art experiences for children with developmental problems. Included are sections on pasting, cutting, crayons, clay, tempera, finger painting, paper tearing, crafts, and seasonal activities. Each activity is outlined with a list of materials and procedure to follow. Suggested in the introduction to each section are possible educational objectives related to the medium and ways of relating the art activities to other educational experiences. The activities are arranged in a hierarchy of difficulty, assisting the teacher in planning from a task-analysis basis. (Author/IM)
