Organizing for Individualized Instruction.

This booklet systematizes some of the schemes and approaches to individualized instruction so that educators who desire to move toward more individualized approaches will be able to consider a range of alternatives. The following will be examined: two major method of individualizing instruction (individualizing instructional ends and individualizing instructional means), several school organizational patterns that are conducive to individualized approaches (team teaching, nongraded programs, and flexible scheduling), a number of specific instructional strategies that can be combined into an effectively differentiated system, and a study report form for gathering baseline data relative to current classroom/school organization and instruction.
