The reading programs described in this issue of "Kaleidoscope" provide examples of innovations being implemented in Massachusetts schools as part of the state's Right to Read effort. The forty program descriptions fall into three categories: those directly related to the Massachusetts Plan of Action for reading instruction, those involving reading instruction at Right to Read sites, and those complementing the national, New England Consortium, and Massachusetts Right to Read goals. Indexes for grade level and for city, town, and region are included. (JM)
