Simulating Psychoeducational Data.
Burns, Edward
To emphasize the interrelated character of psychoeducational variables and educational achievement, a computer program in FORTRAN IV has been written which simulates data by taking population characteristics inputs and projecting a profile of academic functioning. The program enhances the users' diagnostic skills by simulating data in the following major areas: (1) psychological evaluation; (2) sensory screening; (3) personal social behavior; and (4) reading. The text describes the operation of the program while the appendixes provide a copy of the complete program and give several examples of simulated student profiles. (EMH)
