Diagnostic Reading Clinic: Title I Evaluation, 1974-1975.
This paper describes the Diagnostic Reading Clinic program, which is part of the Cleveland School System. The first section is an introduction which focuses on the needs and rationale of the program, the goals and objectives of the program, the historical background of the program, and the questions to be answered by evaluating the effectiveness of the clinic's services. The second section focuses on the highlights of the findings of the evaluation, implications and recommendations, and a description of the project, including participants' characteristics, and project operations. The third section focuses on the methods for evaluation, including the basic design, main findings, teacher opinions, parent opinions, the impartial observation team, follow-up consultants, and a correlation study.
