The Portland (Oregon) Public School Project Career Education (PCE) guide for grades 7-8 opens with an outline of the eight concepts to be implemented into the curriculum and a brief description of the four interwoven and interdependent life role definitions (vocational, leisure, family, and citizen). This is followed by a sample 7-8 implementation format, an activity evaluation form, a list of national and Oregon career clusters, The National Standard Career Education Model, and a sample career exploration activity format.
