The Service Station.

The purpose of the teacher's guide is to encourage the primary student to expand his or her awareness of jobs within the community. The role of the service station worker is examined, with emphasis on the goods and services provided. Subject areas for which the materials in this guide have potential are social studies, art, and language. Each set of learning experiences contains a student objective, set overview, resource list, teacher-preparation tasks, learning activities, and suggestions for evaluation-summary activities.
