The course outline emphasizes the trade of barbering and is intended to be part of a complete course of instruction which provides both a thorough foundation in the fundamental skills and knowledge of the barber trade and the development of good work habits and attitudes, including an appreciation of the importance of safety. The student is intended to have actual barber shop experience in conjunction with this high school level course.
