In March 1975, there were about 11.2 million persons of Spanish origin in the United States. This advance report presents data on a variety of social, economic, and democratic characteristics for these people. Subcategories of Spanish origin are: Mexican, Puerto Rican, Cuban, Central and South American, or other Spanish origin. Collected in the March 1975 Current Population Survey, statistics are given for such characteristics as age, sex, marital status, educational attainment, major occupation, family income, and low income status.
