The general provisions are (1) rationale and purpose of industrial arts; (2) legal and regulatory considerations, covering certification, curriculum, and school buildings; (3) students of all age levels; (4) programs in industrial materials, power technology, and visual communication, and their content, methods, interdisciplinary aspects, learners, curriculum, and facilities; (5) professional personnel, i.e., instructional, administrative, supervisory, resource, paraprofessional, and consultant; (6) learning resources, i.e., facilities, equipment, materials and supplies, and media; (7) administration, i.e., financing, scheduling, legal responsibilities, staff development, and maintenance; and (8) evaluation, internal and external.
