Summary of the Development, Pilot, Revision and Evaluation of the Secondary Curriculum Materials (Center for the Development of Environmental Curriculum).

This supplemental report accompanied the project termination report and deals specifically with the design, development, piloting, revision, and evaluation of the secondary curriculum materials developed during the third year of the project. The report is divided into four main sections. Section 1 contains a brief description of the purpose and the objectives of the secondary curriculum effort. Section 2 provides an overview of the Center for the Development of Environmental Curriculum activities for the year, including the development of curriculum design materials, pilot program, evaluation of curriculum materials, and analysis of data. Section 3 is a detailed chronological narrative of the same period discussed in section 2. Supplementary materials referred to in the narrative are included in 21 appendixes in the last section. They include such entries as secondary curriculum writers and contributors, pilot teacher assignments, unit summary sheets, and activity evaluation forms. (TK)
