The Teacher Questionnaire was designed to provide demographic information about the teacher, information on the school organizational climate, information about instructional and classroom management practices, and a measure of the teacher's verbal facility. Section 1 contains 23 items identifying specific teacher traits and characteristics (sex, age, race, experience, attitudes, etc.) Section 2 contains 10 items measuring the teacher's perception of the school organizational climate. Section 3 parallels the dimensions on the new Observer Rating Scale: warmth, enthusiasm, clarity, variety, individualization, feedback, cognitive demand, freedom, and on-task activity. Section 4 contains 20 items measuring the verbal facility of the teacher. Correlations among selected variables are presented in the main report. Teacher questionnaire subscales and scoring key are included. (Author/RC)
