Graduate School Programs in Public Affairs and Public Administration, 1974.
National Association of Schools of Public Affairs and Administration, Washington, DC.
This is the report of the second national survey of the member colleges and universities of the National Association of Schools of Public Affairs and Administration (NASPAA). The questionnaire was mailed to all member institutions in fall 1973 and covered the academic year 1972-73. The survey has succeeded in gathering a wide variety of data that should be of interest to prospective students, degree candidates, teachers, and university and governmental administrators. The 108 respondents included represent nearly all of the major academic institutions in the U.S. with graduate programs in public affairs and public administration. Respondents were asked to characterize the type of institution in which the public administration and public affairs graduate programs are being offered. This report is designed chiefly to satisfy the interests of prospective students and other individuals wishing to know what specific programs at particular schools look like and how they compare with each other. The programs are divided by states. (Author/PG)
