On the instruction of the Council of Ontario Universities, the Advisory Committee on Academic Planning, in cooperation with the Committee of Ontario Deans of Engineering (CODE) conducted a planning assessment for doctoral work in electrical engineering. Emphasis is placed on the supply and demand of doctorates in electrical engineering; factors to consider related to the doctoral programs in electrical engineering; evaluation of the doctoral program in electrical engineering in Ontario Universities; and recommendations. Information is given on electrical engineering programs at Carleton University, McMaster University, University of Ottawa, Queen's University, University of Toronto, University of Waterloo, University of Western Ontario, and the University of Windsor.
