The following course outline is a guide which presents students with the basic programing and operation concepts for developing the skills necessary to become proficient in the area of computer communications and operation. The student must have met the objectives of Introduction to Computer Programming prior to enrollment in this course. The class meets 2 hours a day for 90 clock hours. The outline lists the information the student must learn. It is made up of 11 blocks of instruction (orientation, review of data processing fundamentals, system design, central processor, system units, files, flowcharting, program instruction categories, processing techniques, basic operating principles, and Quinmester posttests) which are broken down into several units each.
