This document contains the outline of a science curriculum for grades six and seven. General objectives for science education are listed, then a general course overview, a content outline with suggested time allotments, and unit objectives are provided for both the sixth and seventh grade courses. The primary focus of the suggested sixth grade course of study is the development of basic inquiry skills; content covered includes topics from physical science, chemistry, life science, and coastal environment.
