May 1970: The Campus Aftermath of Cambodia and Kent State.
Peterson, Richard E.; Bilorusky, John A.
Is it possible that the "unprecedented refusal of the campus community to carry on with academic work per usual" in May of 1970 had no significant effect on American higher education. The authors of the two studies in this report do not think so. Part one studies the national campus reaction to Cambodia and Kent State and part two examines the reconstituting of university and society based on the implications of the Berkeley situation. (MJM)
