Local Education Agency Planning Analyst's Procedures. A Vocational Education Planning System for Local School Districts. Volume III.
Goldman, Charles I.
The manual is part of a series to assist in planning procedures for local and State vocational agencies. It details steps required to process a local education agency's data after the data have been coded onto keypunch forms. Program, course, and overhead data are input into a computer data base and error checks are performed. A computer model is run using the data base to produce current year reports and five year projections of manpower needs met and student demand served, facilities needed versus those available, teachers required and available, direct program costs (salaries, materials, travel), equipment and maintenance, total overhead costs by account. The procedures are written using Rapid Access Management Information System (RAMIS). The manual assumes data will be input and the model run using the National CSS, Inc., computer service. (MS)
