American Indian Law Student Associations Education Project.
The American Indian Law Student Association (AILSA) at the University of New Mexico Law School developed and secured approval for a Indian clinical law program. Funded by the Donner Foundation, AILSA aided in the development of a student bill of rights and responsibilities for Bureau of Indian Affairs boarding schools. The law program is discussed in 3 phases, and a budget is given. Also presented are 8 appendices--e.g., addresses of students in the special law scholarship program for American Indians, and Bureau of Indian Affairs Manual Guidelines for Admission. (FF)
