Board Adopted Grievance Policies 1972-1973. Supplementary Research Report Number 125.
Association of California School Administrators.; California Teachers Association, Burlingame. Dept. of Research.
This report presents the results of a survey of grievance policies in approximately 700 school districts; the survey was conducted by the Research Department of the California Teachers Association in conjunction with the Association of California School Administrators. Information about district policies for resolving disputes, commonly referred to as "grievance policies," is presented in table format. Districts are listed alphabetically by type of district (unified, elementary, or high school). Average daily attendance figures are also included, to assist those wishing to make comparisons among similarly sized districts. The report notes that districts were asked to furnish copies of board-adopted grievance procedure policies; many of these are on file in the department's Research Information Center. (Authors/JA)
