California Univ., Berkeley. Human Factors in Technology Research Group.
This document contains the proceedings of a conference on the general topic of labor market information, particulary the need to develop better methods, services, and subsystems for delivering such information. The source of the current concern for an adequate system of labor market information was the increased national interest in the optimum utilization of labor as well as in providing employment opportunities to workers. Participating in the conference was a diverse group from universities, employment services, vocational education, counseling and placement services, industry, nonprofit organizations, and the civil service. The proceedings include reports of seminars on the nature of demand for labor market information, the sources of labor market information, and the processing and delivery of labor market information.
